Special hydrophilic behaviour is desired with hygiene papers such as kitchen towels, napkins or toilet paper to make them absorbent. At the same time, these papers must not lose any of their strength to prevent them from becoming too soft and tear. In addition, they shall feature skin care properties or fragrances.
